Salary: £21,000 - 23,500 per year
Requirements
- We are looking for someone with a general interest in this field.
- We need a strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and the ability to diagnose operating system-related errors.
- CompTIA course completion would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of digital imaging in the dental industry would be advantageous, but it is not essential as full training will be provided.
- We need excellent customer communication skills and the ability to listen to non-IT clients and understand their requirements.
- You must be efficient and able to manage your own time effectively.
- You should be able to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- A Certificate of Higher Education is preferred.
- Technical support experience of 1 year is preferred.
- Customer service experience of 1 year is preferred.
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- We will have you acting as a first-line technician on our support team.
- You will handle incoming calls from users of our digital software and equipment in the dental industry.
- You will diagnose whether issues are software- or hardware-related.
- You will resolve problems by accessing computers remotely where possible.
- You will liaise with the relevant manufacturer when issues cannot be resolved directly.
- You will manage scheduled software installation jobs in your diary.
- You will record all work completed, whether scheduled or unscheduled, in our CRM system.
