Platform Engineer

Salary: £85,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in owning scalability ideally within a product-led environment
• Solid back-end services experience (Go, Python, Node, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience (Terraform, Ansible, Redhat, etc.)
• AWS exposure
• Strong containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Basic VM management experience
• Experience delivering new tooling for infrastructures
• Relational database exposure (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
• An agile, flexible personality comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and improve business-critical applications and infrastructure
• Facilitate improvements in application deployment and scalability
• Create a fully automated deployment environment using the latest automation and configuration management tools
• Collaborate with a close-knit technical team on various projects
