Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT application service operations
• Manage incidents, problems, changes, and service performance
• Maintain reporting and ensure ITIL compliance
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and remove delivery blockers
• Coach teams on Agile best practice
• Support backlog refinement and future sprint planning

We are hiring a Service Manager / Scrum Master to support a HE platform, working across key application workstreams. This is a 50/50 split between Service Management and Scrum Master responsibilities, ideal for someone who can combine operational service delivery with agile leadership and deliver change. The role is a 6-month contract at £500 per day inside umbrella, offered as hybrid in Sheffield or remote, with an ASAP start and interviews to be arranged quickly.
