Junior Java Software Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements

• We require a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant technical experience.
• We require familiarity with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, React.js, responsive design, and Material UI components.
• We require familiarity with backend development using Java and/or Python.
• We require familiarity with database technologies, specifically MongoDB.
• We require familiarity with version control tools including Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is a plus.
• We require strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with infrastructure tools such as Terraform is preferred.
• Deployment experience using shell scripts, particularly in AWS serverless environments such as S3, CloudFront, and Lambda, is preferred.
