Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS & Android) Location: 100% Remote Employment Type: Contracting Job Duration: 12 Months Experience Required: 5-8 Years Rate: $60/Hr on C2C About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cross-Platform Native Mobile Engineer with deep expertise in both Swift and Kotlin to join our distributed engineering team.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity for an experienced mobile developer who is passionate about building high-performance, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong native mobile development background, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and is experienced in delivering production-grade mobile applications in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS and Android.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Swift and Kotlin.Build reusable components and shared architecture to support cross-platform development strategies.Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.Debug and resolve complex production issues.Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.Stay current with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and platform updates.

Required Qualifications 5-8 years of professional experience in mobile application development.Strong hands-on expertise in Swift and Kotlin.Extensive experience building and maintaining native iOS and Android applications.Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture.Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON-based services.Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile team.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform mobile architectures.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, CircleCI, or Jenkins.Experience with Firebase and mobile analytics platforms.Knowledge of mobile security best practices.Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
