Senior Network Architect - Cisco SDA, DNAC, ISE

Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading the design of Cisco SD-Access solutions within complex, large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on capability across Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), Cisco ISE, and TrustSec, with a solid grounding in Software-Defined Access architectures
• Comfortable working at depth with core SDA technologies, including VXLAN and LISP, and applying these within fabric-based enterprise networks
• Proven understanding of SD-Access fabric design principles, including segmentation models using Virtual Networks (VN) and Scalable Group Tags (SGT)
• Experience designing and implementing both macro and micro-segmentation strategies aligned to security and business requirements
• Confident working across fabric-enabled wireless networks, including integration within SDA environments
• Strong background producing detailed HLDs and LLDs, with the ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable network designs
• Working knowledge of network automation and programmability, like Python, REST APIs, Ansible, and Cisco DNAC APIs
• Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Support a short-term contract as a Senior Network Architect
• Design and document large-scale Cisco SD-Access solutions
• Work across Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), Cisco ISE, and TrustSec in enterprise environments
• Apply SDA technologies such as VXLAN and LISP within fabric-based network designs
• Design SD-Access fabric segmentation using Virtual Networks (VN) and Scalable Group Tags (SGT)

We are offering a short-term contract for a Senior Network Architect, working with a client on a large-scale Cisco SD-Access programme. The role is inside IR35, paying up to £550 per day, and is based in London with remote working and ad-hoc on-site attendance. We are seeking someone who can deliver strong architecture, design, and documentation support across enterprise networking and SDA technologies.
