Requirements
- Proficiency with Splunk, ideally including Splunk Processing Language
- Experience with SolarWinds Orion or a similar monitoring platform
- Experience within an observability or monitoring-focused team
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell scripting
- Exposure to large-scale hybrid environments (500+ servers)
- Experience working with APIs
- Bonus: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices
- Bonus: exposure to GNU/Linux administration in production environments
- Bonus: experience with Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain our primary observability platforms, Splunk and SolarWinds
- Keep the platforms current and well configured
- Work with technology and business teams to ensure the right monitoring and alerting is in place
- Support security reporting for a new HRIS platform
- Contribute to monitoring for a SAP HANA programme
- Support a global SOC build-out
- Assist with the rollout of Datadog

Our technology function is investing in observability and engineering, and this contract role sits within the team responsible for our core monitoring platforms. The role is a 3-month contract, inside IR35, offering £340 per day, with remote working and occasional travel to our London office.
