Job Description

Job Description: Lead and manage the QA team, including resource planning, workload management, mentoring, and career development. Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.

Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for new and existing products. Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing approaches.

Ensure quality is embedded throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Drive test planning, test execution, defect management, and release readiness activities. Manage QA activities using Jira and related project management and reporting tools.

Track, analyze, and report quality metrics, testing progress, defect trends, and release quality indicators. Identify quality risks early and proactively propose mitigation strategies. Support and improve both manual and automated testing practices across the team.

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of QA team members. Facilitate collaboration between QA, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to improve overall product quality and delivery efficiency.

Stay current with emerging QA tools, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.Requirements: Proven experience leading QA teams in a Team Lead, QA Manager, or similar leadership role.

Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile software delivery methodologies. Experience creating and maintaining test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes, defect management, and quality assurance best practices. Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple projects and teams. Hands-on experience with Jira and related project tracking and reporting tools.

Understanding of QA metrics, reporting frameworks, and quality governance practices. Experience establishing or scaling QA processes within growing technology organizations. Solid understanding of web application testing and modern software architectures.

Experience working alongside development, product, and business teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience mentoring and developing junior and mid-level QA professionals.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Upper-intermediate (or higher) level of English. Ability to work effectively in a distributed international team environment.

Experience with leveraging the latest AI tools to increase productivity with automation, where feasible (e.g., Codex, ChatGPT, etc.).Benefits: Full time position (mix of onsite and remote). Competitive package. Career path in a technology company with many talented people.
