Salary: £117,000 - 143,000 per year

Requirements

• We require active SC Clearance.
• We require 15 years of total IT experience with clear progression into technical leadership.
• We require at least 5 years of hands-on Azure experience.
• We require a mandatory AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate certification.
• We need proven experience with Prompt Engineering, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, and Cognitive Search.
• We need expert proficiency in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• We need familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps frameworks for production-grade AI.
• We need exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• We value strong problem-solving skills and a positive, consultative attitude.
• We prefer AZ-303/304 or AZ-305, AI-102, and DP-100 certifications.

Responsibilities

• We will have you architect and design on-premises, cloud, and hybrid AI solutions.
• We will have you lead the deployment and customization of generative models using Azure OpenAI, vector databases, and RAG patterns.
• We will have you manage and govern technical teams to ensure best practices in AI data engineering.
• We will have you act as the primary technical point of contact and build consensus across business units.
• We will have you develop and deliver upskilling sessions to support long-term project sustainability.
• We will expect you to work hands-on with Python and PySpark to ensure the technical foundation is robust.
• We will have you guide a dedicated team through the complexities of deploying and fine-tuning generative models.
