Job Description

Salary: £45,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

  • We require the right to work in the UK.
  • We require solid experience in manual testing of complex web applications.
  • We value data fluency, including validating data integrity or working with data-heavy systems.
  • We value exposure to test automation.
  • We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and comfortable working at pace with a high level of ownership.
  • We are looking for someone who naturally explores systems, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and has a keen eye for UI and UX.
  • We want someone who uses AI tools practically in day-to-day work and understands their limitations.
  • We want someone who is firm on quality standards and delivers feedback constructively.

Responsibilities

  • We will expect you to take end-to-end responsibility for product quality from the design phase through to release.
  • We will expect you to design and execute thorough exploratory tests across a complex web application.
  • We will expect you to go beyond predefined test cases to uncover critical edge cases.
  • We will expect you to participate actively in product discussions and challenge design and implementation decisions to uphold high standards.
  • We will expect you to identify and communicate technical and UX risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • We will expect you to use logs, production issues, and usage patterns to guide testing and prioritise risk.
  • We will expect you to spot usability issues and provide actionable UI and UX feedback.
  • We will expect you to help define and refine QA processes as the engineering team continues to scale.
