Requirements

• We require strong Salesforce/SFDC testing experience, including automation testing in Salesforce.
• We require hands-on experience with Apex, Playwright, BDD/Cucumber, and API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• We require industry experience in loans and investments, with exposure to loans/investment applications.
• We require experience testing JavaScript and React applications.
• We require functional and integration testing expertise, along with knowledge of exploratory and automation testing.
• We require experience working in Agile, CI/CD, TDD, and BDD environments.
• We require familiarity with Conga templates, FinDock, and GoCardless.
• We require excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• We require BPSS security vetting.
• We prefer Salesforce Admin 201 certification.
• We prefer knowledge of JavaScript, Java, or Apex scripting.
• We prefer ISTQB, Agile Tester, or ITIL certifications.
• We prefer experience delivering digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• We lead functional, integration, exploratory, and automation testing activities.
• We work closely with Salesforce developers to improve unit test coverage and quality.
• We develop and maintain automated regression test suites using Playwright, BDD/Cucumber, and API testing tools.
• We manage defects, testing risks, and release processes.
• We collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure business scenarios are fully tested.
• We mentor junior testers and promote best testing practices across teams.
• We support Agile and DevOps ways of working.

We are a highly reputable corporation that provides funding and investment support to the UK population. We are hiring a Salesforce Test Engineer for an initial 4-month contract, working remotely with minimal travel to Swindon to start as soon as possible. The role is inside IR35 and involves one interview stage via MS Teams. We are looking for a candidate with Salesforce automation testing experience and BPSS security vetting to join our team and help deliver high-quality testing across our Salesforce and investment platforms.
