SC Cleared Data Analyst

Salary: £104,000 - 143,000 per year

Requirements

• We require active SC security clearance that is current and transferable.
• We require proven experience as a Data Analyst within central government or other regulated environments.
• We require strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development, DAX, semantic model design, and data visualisation best practice and governance.
• We require solid SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• We require experience working with cloud data platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
• We require strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• We deliver high-quality analysis, dashboards, and MI products to support decision-making.
• We design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• We work with data engineers and architects to define data requirements and models.
• We analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• We ensure data accuracy, quality, and adherence to governance standards.
• We present insights clearly to senior stakeholders and operational teams.
• We support continuous improvement of analytical capability across the programme.

We are hiring an experienced SC-cleared Data Analyst to support a major central government programme, delivering insight, reporting, and analysis that inform policy and operational decision-making. This is a 6-month contract with a rate of up to £550 per day inside IR35, based in London or Manchester with 1-2 days per week on-site and the remaining days remote in a flexible hybrid working model. You will join a multidisciplinary digital and data team and work closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
