Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year
Requirements
- We require an experienced IT Technician with a track record of working as part of a team and taking ownership and responsibility.
- We require someone who can build strong customer relationships and communicate professionally.
- We require the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- We require proven experience providing IT installation and support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- We require the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- We require a high standard of written and verbal communication.
- We require experience with PCs and workstations, Windows OS, Apple OS, and Microsoft server hardware and software.
- We require experience with Microsoft Office and cloud services such as Google and Microsoft 365.
- We require experience with Microsoft server infrastructure, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 administration.
- We require experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file and print server management, NTFS and share permissions, and user and computer account management.
- We require experience with server patching, maintenance, migrations, upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, Remote Desktop Services, and Windows Server security hardening.
- We require experience with virtualisation, including Hyper-V installation, configuration, management, virtual machine creation, virtual networking, virtual switch configuration, backups, restores, and snapshot management.
- We require experience with routers, switches, Wi-Fi devices, and general networking.
- We require the ability to work on-site in Pembrokeshire or relocate to the area.
- Knowledge of VMware environments would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- We provide remote telephone, workshop, and email technical support.
- We diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, tablets, servers, and other devices.
- We diagnose and resolve network issues.
- We create and modify email accounts, including data migration.
- We install and help monitor anti-virus, RMM, and backup systems.
- We programme VoIP phones and cloud-based systems.
- We install and support Windows Server environments.
- We administer Microsoft 365.
- We manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- We deliver backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- We troubleshoot networking equipment such as routers, switches, and Wi-Fi.
- We provide customer support both onsite and remotely.
- We apply cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection.
