Remote Principal Developer

Salary: £64,000 - 104,000 per year

Requirements

• We require current active SC Clearance.
• We require experience in Java.
• We require experience with AWS.
• We require experience with Spring framework or an equivalent framework.
• We require knowledge of software design patterns and when to apply them.
• We require excellent knowledge of development processes.
• We require experience with containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes.
• We require experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• We require a passion for delivering quality code through TDD and high software quality standards.
• We are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold any type of visa.

Responsibilities

• We deliver business outcomes from requirements through to the production environment.
• We take ownership of our code through to production, including performance and security.
• We work collaboratively as part of a team to help deliver high-quality code.
• We apply software architecture to business problems.
• We raise the bar for development teams through advocacy, education, and knowledge sharing.
• We automate processes and work across CI, CD, security tooling, code quality tools, and deployment tooling.
• We provide technical support for the transition of applications into live service and support.
