Cloud Engineer

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and managing AWS, Azure, or both in production environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Proven track record of migrating traditional infrastructure into the cloud.
• Understanding of best practices for building secure, monitored, and resilient systems.
• Familiarity with automation and CI/CD practices that improve deployment reliability.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, observability, and cross-cloud security integrations.
• Willingness to participate in on-call working on a rota basis.
• Willingness to travel to our Chandlers Ford head office for team collaboration days.
• Ability to pass an enhanced security vetting process.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS, Azure, or both infrastructure supporting production workloads across networking, storage, and application services.
• Build resilient, secure, and observable cloud services that are robust and future-ready.
• Architect, build, and migrate cloud services from traditional infrastructure into a modern, scalable environment.
• Work hands-on with infrastructure design, automation, observability, and cross-cloud security integrations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to turn requirements into real-world solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to improve reliability.
• Support monitoring and observability practices across our cloud platforms.
• Participate in on-call support on a rota basis.
