Remote Backend Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

• Strong understanding of blockchain systems, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.

• Proficiency in Rust; experience with libraries like alloy and reth is appreciated.

• Commitment to producing clean, maintainable code and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical systems, including consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering processes, and state management.
• Solve complex challenges in distributed systems and cryptography to improve scalability and robustness.
• Work closely with our founding team to iterate rapidly based on feedback from our integration partners and other members of the blockchain ecosystem.
• Establish benchmarks, tools, and best practices to ensure the system is efficient, scalable, and developer-friendly.
