Requirements

• Extensive dedicated Oracle Retail experience spanning versions 13 through 26.
• Proven track record with Oracle Retail Cloud version 25+, specifically focusing on MFCS, ReSA, ReIM, and cloud integrations.
• Deep domain experience across Tier-1 global retail environments such as Grocery, Apparel, Department Stores, or Hardware.
• Highly technically proficient with the ability to work with PL/SQL, Pro*C, Unix, Oracle Forms, and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional background in complex integration methodologies, including REST APIs, XML, and RIB.
• Strong analytical mindset with a history of delivering complex cloud migrations on tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end functional architecture and delivery of Oracle Retail Cloud v25+ implementations.
• Drive critical integration streams, focusing on on-premise to SaaS migrations and legacy-to-cloud upgrades.
• Provide deep functional and integration expertise across the Oracle Retail suite, including MFCS, ReSA, ReIM, IMCS, POM, RIHA, RICS, RMS, SIM, RIB, and FTS.
• Architect and oversee REST-based and XML integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between core modules and custom applications.
• Act as the primary technical and functional authority, managing high-level stakeholder expectations and troubleshooting complex architectural bottlenecks.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Solution Architect / Lead Functional Consultant for an immediate start on a critical Oracle Retail implementation. This is a 3-month initial contract role with a remote / Hatfield working arrangement, requiring 1–2 days per week on-site. We need a hands-on leader who has successfully transitioned legacy environments into modern SaaS ecosystems and can bridge the gap between functional architecture and technical execution in a high-profile retail environment.
