Release Manager - Active SC, AWS

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience working as a Release Manager within the Public Sector.
• Active SC Clearance.
• Experience in coordinating end-to-end release cycles for AWS-hosted Java/Spring Boot services.
• Proficiency in overseeing deployments through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
• Ability to manage environments, resolve issues, and support teams working with Dockerised microservices and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of governance, risk management, and adherence to change-control processes.
• Familiarity with validating test coverage and sign-off criteria ahead of releases.
• Skills in driving continual improvement in release processes and collaborating with agile delivery teams.
• Knowledge of tools like Swagger/OpenAPI, Gradle, Liquibase, Kafka, React, and Typescript is a plus.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
