Requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working in a corporate or MSP technology environment
- Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Office 365
- CompTIA certification, relevant apprenticeship, or higher education
- Degree or degree-equivalent qualifications are desirable
- People-centric approach to service
- Competence with Windows desktop and application support
- Experience supporting tablets and mobile devices
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting, including ping and traceroute
- Understanding of our business, clients, and the market we work in
- Good understanding of Veeam Backup & Replication
- Knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure AD Sync and Azure AD Connect
- Excellent conversational fluency in English to explain complex technical issues clearly
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional remote technical support for cases that cannot be resolved by our 1st line engineers
- Diagnose issues, resolve requests, document incidents, ensure SLAs are met, and deliver excellent end-user experiences
- Conduct onsite troubleshooting at client facilities as needed to address complex requests
- Represent our company positively when working onsite with clients
- Coach and mentor junior engineers by sharing technical expertise, collecting organisational knowledge, and identifying continuous improvements
- Serve as a point of contact and guide the team in the Team Leaders absence
- Ensure a smooth transition between night and day shifts
- Triaging cases correctly during the night shift
