Security Systems Engineer - South East London

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Engineer with strong enterprise security systems expertise.
• We require proven experience supporting and commissioning enterprise-level security systems.
• We need strong knowledge of platforms such as Genetec, Gallagher, Lenel, CCURE, Milestone, Avigilon, FLIR, or Hanwha.
• We require a solid understanding of Windows Server, SQL databases, IP networking, and virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• We are looking for someone who can diagnose and resolve complex, integrated system issues.
• We require strong communication skills with a client-facing approach.
• We need experience producing clear and professional technical documentation.
• We require a full UK driving licence.
• We would value experience working in large-scale, multi-site environments.
• We would value previous involvement in system design or technical planning.
• Relevant certifications or vendor accreditations within security systems are desirable.

Responsibilities

• We will rely on you to lead complex fault resolution across access control, CCTV, intercom, and integrated security systems.
• We will expect you to support full project lifecycle delivery, including commissioning, upgrades, and migrations.
• We will need you to provide senior-level technical support both remotely and on-site.
• We will expect you to collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers on system design and technical planning.
• We will rely on you to conduct system audits, health checks, and performance reviews.
• We will expect you to act as a trusted technical advisor to key clients.
• We will need you to mentor engineers and share technical best practice across the team.
• We will expect you to take ownership of delivering and supporting complex security system projects across enterprise environments.
• We will need you to ensure the successful commissioning and ongoing performance of integrated systems.
