Requirements
- We are looking for experience supporting desktop and mobile devices, including laptops, tablets, and Chromebooks.
- We need knowledge of peripheral support, including printers, scanners, AV equipment, projectors, and interactive screens.
- We require a basic understanding of wired and wireless networking.
- We are looking for familiarity with image deployment tools for Microsoft and Apple devices.
- We need operational knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- We expect IT qualifications equivalent to CompTIA A+ or similar.
- Experience using IT service desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow is an advantage.
- We are looking for excellent customer service skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- We need strong verbal and written communication skills.
- We require the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
- We are looking for strong troubleshooting skills, including knowing when to research issues or escalate problems.
- We need the ability to build strong working relationships with remote teams and users.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required.
- This is an onsite, UK-based role.
- We are unable to sponsor work visas.
Responsibilities
- We provide on-site and remote IT support to users across multiple locations.
- We maintain and support desktop and mobile devices, including laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets.
- We diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for printers, scanners, interactive screens, projectors, and AV equipment.
- We troubleshoot basic networking issues, including wired and wireless connectivity problems.
- We assist with image build and deployment for Microsoft and Apple devices.
- We support users with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications.
- We act as the customer-facing representative for IT support, ensuring fast and efficient service.
- We support the service desk team in delivering high-quality IT support and escalate issues when necessary.
- We provide clear technical guidance to users with varying levels of IT knowledge.
- We maintain accurate records of service requests in the IT ticketing system.
- We work effectively with remote IT teams to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
- We support the implementation of ITIL best practices to improve IT service delivery.
- We contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT support efficiency.
