Business Analyst

Salary: £41,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements

• Demonstrable commercial experience working independently as a Business Analyst
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and requirement elicitation
• Experience in business process mapping and capturing user stories
• Experience overseeing UAT sessions and ensuring alignment between requirements and test scenarios
• Experience using a variety of analysis techniques such as SWOT, PESTLE, MoSCoW, and similar methods
• Formal Business Analysis certification such as BCS Foundation, or evidence of working toward a BCS/ISEB Diploma or similar accreditation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter with a driven, responsible, and goal-oriented approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to think on your feet

Responsibilities

• Lead on formulating, developing, and taking responsibility for end-to-end business solutions within a change portfolio
• Play a pivotal part in all business analysis aspects of large or complex business change and technology programmes
• Shape associated business outcomes
• Drive business goals and ensure they are understood and documented
• Complete robust analysis in line with the overall delivery plan
• Engage with stakeholders and carry out analysis
• Gather requirements and ensure robust elicitation and validation
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications by working with internal and external stakeholders
• Improve existing business processes
• Produce artefacts and provide solution support
• Support user acceptance testing and change impact assessments
