Requirements

• Previous experience in a Geocoder, GIS Technician, GIS Analyst or similar geospatial role.
• Experience using GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online or QGIS.
• A good understanding of geocoding, spatial data and coordinate systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data quality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Desirable: experience with SQL, Python or FME.
• Desirable: knowledge of spatial databases and geospatial data management.

Responsibilities

• Geocode and validate address and location datasets.
• Cleanse, maintain and quality assure spatial data.
• Identify, investigate and resolve data anomalies.
• Maintain GIS databases and associated records.
• Support the production of mapping outputs and geospatial datasets.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver accurate and reliable location data.
• Ensure data standards and quality procedures are consistently maintained.
