IT Technician / Support Engineer (1st & 2nd Line)

Salary: £32,000 - 36,000 per year

Requirements

• Degree educated in IT/Computing
• 2-3 years of hands-on IT/Infrastructure Support experience
• Expertise in Microsoft products (O365, Intune, Microsoft Entra, Exchange)
• Proficiency in Networking, Windows, Active Directory, and Storage Management
• Experience with VMWare
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with internal and external partners
• Reliable, enthusiastic, motivated, and customer-focused approach
• Desire to learn and grow within the business

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for IT issues and support, adhering to agreed service levels and standards
• Provide desktop, laptop, mobile, server, and storage support
• Plan, install, and upgrade computer hardware and software, ensuring seamless transitions
• Champion data security and regulatory compliance through patch management and security audits
• Establish and refine documentation of IT processes, incidents, and resolutions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve high-level IT issues
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions
• Manage remote access and mobile device strategies for secure working arrangements
