2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements

• Ideally 2-3 years experience in an IT role within an MSP
• Knowledge on Windows Server, Backups, Virtualisation, Antivirus, Office 365, Networking essentials, Windows OS, and Microsoft desktop operating systems
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2007 – 2016
• Passion for delivering great customer service, both remotely and in person
• Knowledge of Azure, telecoms, Draytek, and Ubiquiti is beneficial
• Efficient, adaptable, flexible, and hold a Clean UK driving license

Responsibilities

• Responding to and resolving tickets, customer issues, incidents, and queries
• Provide onsite/remote support in a positive and proactive manner
• Working on a blend of IT support, networking, telecoms, and server work
• Installing/setting equipment on client site to the highest possible standard
• Working with the team on issue escalation/troubleshooting 3rd party applications
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and adopting a hands-on problem-solving approach
