Requirements

• We need strong experience leading technical delivery using C# .NET Core alongside modern front-end architectures such as SSG or SPA frameworks, including Astro, SolidJS, React, Vue, or similar.
• We need a hands-on technical leader who stays close to the codebase and supports implementation when required.
• We need experience working within fast-paced digital or advertising agency environments.
• We need proven experience leading both front-end and back-end developers with a strong understanding of full-stack challenges.
• We need a broad background in hands-on development across multiple web technologies.
• We need comfort adopting new tools and approaches, including AI-driven solutions and API integrations.
• We need experience managing day-to-day technical resourcing across multiple concurrent projects.
• We need a strong understanding of project workflows and delivery tools such as JIRA.
• We value experience working for an advertising or digital agency.
• We value exposure to AI tooling and understanding how AI integrates into APIs and workflows.
• Azure hosting experience is beneficial.
• We need someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

• We will lead technical delivery across multiple client projects.
• We will support website builds, microsites, and ongoing development oversight.
• We will balance leadership with hands-on delivery and contribute technically when needed.
• We will work closely with UX, design, and delivery teams to translate technical complexity into clear decisions.
• We will own and drive quality assurance standards across projects.
• We will manage day-to-day technical resourcing across several concurrent projects.
• We will lead both front-end and back-end developers.
• We will engage in internal stakeholder meetings and occasional client interaction.
• We will switch context quickly and manage several projects in parallel.
• We will support the adoption of new tools, including AI-enabled solutions and API integrations.
• We will contribute across a mix of digital work including maintenance updates, campaigns, brand guardianship tools, interactive maps, content updates, and agent demos.

We are a busy advertising agency delivering multiple client projects at the same time, and we are looking for a contract Tech Lead to join us for an initial one-month engagement with the chance of extension. The role is outside IR35 and is based remotely with office days in London near Oxford Circus from Tuesday to Thursday. You will work alongside our existing technical leads to support a growing pipeline of work across a mix of digital channels, and we value versatility, full-stack capability, and experience in fast-paced agency environments. Exposure to AI tooling, API workflows, and Azure hosting will be an advantage.
