Salary: £130,000 - 143,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy a new enterprise hosting platform based on Red Hat OpenShift
• Support a large-scale infrastructure transformation programme
• Work closely with architects, platform engineers and delivery teams
• Help improve platform scalability, resilience and operational efficiency
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and platform engineering best practices
• Support ongoing platform enhancements as the environment continues to evolve

We are a leading UK technology and communications organisation undergoing a major infrastructure transformation programme. We are building a brand-new internal hosting platform based on Red Hat OpenShift and are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our highly skilled engineering team. This is an initially 6-month hybrid role based in Manchester or Knowsley, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote each week. The position is inside IR35 and offers the opportunity to help modernise enterprise infrastructure while working alongside architects, platform engineers and delivery teams on a next-generation private cloud platform supporting critical business services.
