Junior Telecoms Engineer

Salary: £44,000 - 72,000 per year

Requirements

• We are looking for a junior telecommunications or network engineering background, or relevant experience in a similar technical environment.
• We would value a basic understanding of optical, cellular, or IP networking technologies.
• We need someone who is eager to learn and develop within a fast-moving industry.
• We require strong written and verbal communication skills.
• We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team.
• We require eligibility for security clearance.
• We require a full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• We provide operational and technical support across communications networks.
• We assist with fault finding and diagnostics on network infrastructure.
• We work with routing and switching technologies and associated hardware.
• We support remote network monitoring and management systems.
• We carry out field activities when required, including installation, commissioning, and surveys.
• We participate in an on-call support rota.
