IT Project Delivery Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements

• At least 3 years professional experience within a Managed Services IT environment
• Wide range of networking knowledge including IP addressing, VLANs, routing and VPN administration
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude and logical problem-solving abilities
• Strong people skills and technical competence
• Excellent work ethic with ability to manage and prioritise working time
• Approachable, calm under pressure, with good verbal and written communication skills
• General understanding of DNS, telephony systems, and website/email hosting
• Willingness to undertake out-of-hours work when required
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Essential Experience:
• Experience resolving and diagnosing Windows issues
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint)
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server 2016 - 2025, Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge
• Preferable (but not essential) experience:
• Webhosting technologies (cPanel/WHM, MySQL)
• Experience supporting MacOS and MDM solutions
• Linux CLI administration

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, implementation and management of IT projects
• Provide escalated end user technical support and assistance both remotely and on-site
• Configure and support Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows Server and Active Directory
• Install, configure and maintain hardware like PCs, Servers, and networking equipment
• Educate clients and internal teams on best practices
• Record all activities within a PSA and Ticketing system
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Serve as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support escalations
• Work with clients to understand their objectives and propose solutions
• Keep up to date with the latest vendor technologies and best practices
