Software Engineer

Salary: £35,273 - 55,797 per year

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in developing full stack Windows PC applications (e.g., mainly C++ & C).
• Familiarity with interfacing and controlling laboratory/test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, VNA, Oscilloscopes).
• Experience with signal processing or RF-related software development (preferred).
• Knowledge of communication protocols and hardware interfaces (e.g., USB, Ethernet, SCPI).
• Experience with visualization tools and data analysis frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience working in test and measurement or embedded systems environments.
• Physics background is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance full stack Windows applications.
• Develop software interfaces for test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers and related instrumentation.
• Produce clear technical documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.
