Network Systems Administrator / Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience in Microsoft technologies, especially MS Server and M365 administration
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Hyper-V, SQL, Clustering, File & Print, and WDS
• Familiarity with Teams, Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, and Intune
• Knowledge of email services management, including Mimecast and MS Exchange
• Experience with Veeam Backups (local and cloud)
• Competence in SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge management
• Skills in server/desktop software patch management
• Understanding of mobile device management policies
• Experience with network security and anti-virus processes
• Ability to deploy and maintain PC and server hardware
• Knowledge in SAN management and network communication systems
• 3rd line support experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer MS Server environments and M365 platforms
• Oversee email services and ensure smooth operations
• Conduct backups using Veeam and manage cloud storage solutions
• Administer and configure SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge
• Execute software patch management on servers and desktops
• Implement mobile device management policies
• Maintain network security and anti-virus measures
• Deploy and maintain PC and server hardware
• Manage network storage and communication systems such as firewalls and routers
• Provide 3rd line support to users and troubleshoot issues effectively
