IT Infrastructure Engineer / Administrator

Salary: £50,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in Microsoft technologies including MS Server administration, M365 administration, and email services management
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Hyper-V, SQL, Clustering, File & Print, and WDS
• Understanding of hybrid Active Directory, Teams, Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, and Intune
• Experience with Veeam Backups and SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge
• Knowledge of patch management solutions such as Action1
• Familiarity with mobile device management policies
• Experience in network security, anti-virus processes, and hardware deployment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide 3rd line support

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Microsoft Servers, focusing on Active Directory and SQL
• Oversee M365 services, including Teams, Exchange, and Intune
• Manage email services and ensure successful operation of Mimecast and MS Outlook
• Implement and manage Veeam Backups for local and cloud environments
• Maintain network security through efficient use of firewalls, routers, and switches
• Conduct software patch management and mobile device management
• Provide 3rd line support for IT infrastructure issues
• Ensure effective deployment and maintenance of PC and server hardware
• Manage network storage primarily through SAN management
