Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements

  • Extensive product management experience with proven expertise in leading and owning the delivery of digital products, with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Experience of identity management in at least one of the following domains: law enforcement, national identity, border security and immigration, ports and carriers, digital identity credentials, IDV platforms, DVS providers, or wallets.
  • Holds or is eligible for UK security clearance to SC level.
  • Experience of designing and deploying biometric and identity solutions, with exposure to modalities such as biographic, fingerprint, facial, and iris.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies for biometric and identity verification systems, including bias, performance, performance drift, and presentation or system resilience.
  • Understanding of the risks related to biometric and identity verification solutions, including Presentation Attack Detection (PAD), verification, identification, and liveness detection capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience working with stateless application designs, site reliability and operational processes, performance tuning, and automation testing.
  • Recognised industry expert with market presence and experience speaking at biometric and digital identity events.
  • Existing trusted relationships with biometric vendors and understanding of the supplier landscape.
  • Experience delivering in transport, defence, borders, or public safety.
  • Familiarity with the GDS Service Standard and the Technology Code of Practice.
  • Deep understanding of relevant biometric architecture and interoperability tools and standards such as ISO/IEC 19794/29794 and NIST/ANSI ITL1.
  • Comfort and familiarity with emerging technologies and digital tools, including AI and ML techniques, and the ability to communicate capabilities and risks to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Play a crucial role in our delivery of digital identity and biometrics solutions for key public sector clients.
  • Work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions that make best use of digital identity solutions to solve complex client problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement flexible, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements, define product strategy, promote best practices, and drive transformation.
  • Own the definition, delivery, and management of public sector products and services.
  • Work with our biometric and digital identity experts, suppliers, and partners to design and build innovative solutions for public sector clients in the UK and abroad.
  • Support clients to define their identity or biometrics vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Support the testing of emerging technologies, run feasibility trials and discoveries, and provide analysis and recommendations to deliver identity roadmaps.
  • Support clients by providing best practice, market, and technology insight.
  • Deliver within the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle using agile delivery methods via multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Build and maintain a presence for us in the wider identity and biometric industry, speaking at events and supporting cross-cutting innovation initiatives.
  • Contribute to sales and future opportunities for the firm.
  • Contribute to internal practice development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Demonstrate inclusive leadership, building followership and managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture.
