Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements

• Active Security Clearance (SC) - must be current and transferable
• Proven experience leading a large-scale digital delivery portfolio in complex, regulated environments
• Strong background in agile delivery, including scaling agile ways of working across multiple teams
• Demonstrated ability to operate at senior stakeholder and executive level, influencing priorities, funding and outcomes
• Experience aligning digital portfolio delivery to business strategy, user needs and organisational objectives

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the end-to-end delivery of a digital portfolio, ensuring projects and programmes are prioritised, sequenced and delivered effectively
• Set and maintain the digital delivery and portfolio strategy, aligning roadmaps with organisational goals and investment priorities
• Provide leadership and direction to delivery managers, product leaders and multidisciplinary teams across the portfolio
• Establish and continually improve portfolio governance, delivery assurance, agile practices and performance reporting
• Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, providing clear visibility of progress, risk, dependencies and value realisation
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and high-quality delivery across the digital portfolio

We are seeking an experienced SC-cleared Head of Digital Delivery to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex digital portfolio, including products, platforms and services within a secure environment. This is a senior leadership role, providing both strategic ownership and hands-on delivery oversight to ensure initiatives deliver measurable value and support wider organisational transformation. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, with 1 day per week on-site in Reading, and we take pride in fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
