Job Title: Network Systems Automation Engineer Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually Experience Required: 6+ years Sponsorship: U.S.

Job Summary We are seeking a Network Systems Automation Engineer who blends strong Python development skills with deep networking domain expertise to automate network configuration, change management, and observability across multi-vendor enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities Develop network automation solutions using Python, Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM, and ScrapliBuild automation for network configuration, deployment, and validationIntegrate with NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, and vendor APIsImplement Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2Manage source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox or NautobotDevelop CI/CD pipelines, testing, and network validationAutomate compliance, monitoring, and telemetryCollaborate with network teams and mentor engineers on automation best practices Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field5+ years of network automation experienceStrong Python programming skillsSolid understanding of routing, switching, and BGPExperience with Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM, or ScrapliHands-on experience with Ansible, Jinja2, Git, and CI/CDFamiliarity with NetBox, Nautobot, and modern network APIs Preferred Qualifications Cisco DevNet or similar automation certificationsExperience with Cisco, Arista, or Juniper environmentsKnowledge of streaming telemetry, cloud networking, and open-source network automation tools How to Apply Would you like to know more about this opportunity?
