Second-Line Support

Salary: £25,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements

• Solid 2nd Line experience
• Exposure to cloud environments
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Understanding of automation practices
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks
• Experience with Microsoft cloud tools
• Scripting skills considered highly desirable
• Prior experience as IT Support Technician, Technical Support Engineer, or Infrastructure Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated technical issues across server, cloud, and network environments
• Use scripting tools to automate tasks and improve internal workflows
• Assist in maintaining internal security and compliance frameworks
• Support implementation and ongoing management of industry standards
• Manage and optimise remote monitoring and management tools
• Troubleshoot and support telephony and connectivity issues
• Contribute to infrastructure projects and improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit records
• Review technical trends and contribute to service improvements
• Support the wider technical team with complex troubleshooting
