Job Description

Salary: £34,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

Prior hands-on technical/IT/engineering experience
Experience working with copper and fibre cabling
Ability to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance
Full UK Driving License and your own personal car is essential for this position

Responsibilities

Working in a Data Centre environment, providing customer support ensuring Service Levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date
Installation of server, network and storage hardware
Performing cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre
Remote hands duties such as power cycling equipment, replacing failed hardware components, re-seating networking cards, testing cabling
