Platform Engineer - Active SC, Databricks, Azure DevOps

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience working as a Platform / DevOps Engineer within the public sector.
• Active SC Clearance.
• Strong, commercial experience with Terraform for IaC, and with Databricks.
• Proven track record configuring and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud services and components.
• Practical experience with Docker containerisation.
• Knowledge of security scanning tooling (Trivy or similar).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash (Python is desirable).
• Solid understanding of Git-based version control, specifically within Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to design, implement, and maintain platform solutions.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our platforms.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Azure cloud services.
• Utilize Docker for containerization of applications.
• Conduct security scanning and remediation using tools like Trivy.
• Support the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.
