Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS & Azure)

#Hiring: Security Architect - Cloud Engineer (AWS & Azure) Visa Required: USC/GC/OPT Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C or 1099) Location: Remote – Initial onsite onboarding, then approximately 3 onsite days per month at Columbia, SC We're looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to help drive large-scale cloud transformation initiatives supporting a statewide shared services environment.

Required skills: · 10 years infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or architecture · 8+ years technical architecture · 5-7 years AWS (IAM, Organizations, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.) · 3-5 years Azure (RBAC, Azure AD, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.) · 3-7 years enterprise cloud architecture or governance · 3-5 years Terraform and infrastructure as a code · 3-5 years cloud migrations and platform operations · 3+ years technical leadership and knowledge transfer · Public Cloud infrastructure expertise Preferred Skills: · Expertise in Terraform infrastructure as code, understanding of scaling technologies and solutions, experience with AWS or other clouds, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container platforms, security, penetration testing and threat detection tools, and experience wServiceNow, Datadog, Dome9, and/or Aviatrix. · Background in DevOps, Software Development, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering. · Experience with configuration management and continuous deployment.

Required / Preferred Certifications: AWS and\or Azure certifications preferred
