Embedded Engineer/Remote

The organization is looking for a seasoned Embedded Engineer who can help guide platform level decisions and support the evolution of devices that operate in complex, real world environments.

This role offers the chance to shape system architecture, optimize performance, and collaborate across diverse technical groups.

Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 10 years of experience in embedded systems development Experience working across multiple hardware or silicon platforms Strong understanding of operating systems, kernel-level concepts, board bring-up, and hardware/software integration Background in migrating or adapting existing codebases to new hardware platforms Familiarity with wireless connectivity concepts and modern IoT-adjacent ecosystems Understanding of secure development practices for connected or distributed devices Proficiency with C/C and common debugging tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills & Experience Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers Exposure to hardware testing or simulation environments Familiarity with device-level update mechanisms Experience supporting products post-deployment What You Will Be Doing: Tech Breakdown 70% Embedded systems development 30% Systems-level architecture / integration work Daily Responsibilities 60% Hands On 20% Architecture / Planning 20% Team Collaboration The Offer Bonus eligible You Will Receive The Following Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance 401(k) company match Paid Time Off Holidays Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
