IT Project Manager

Salary: £37,000 - 52,000 per year

Requirements

• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a Business - IT related subject
• 5+ years experience as an IT Project Manager
• Leadership responsibility in managing multiple cross-functional teams or projects
• Ability to influence senior-level management and key stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge and experience of running projects through a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Experience of working in an Agile delivery model (SCRUM and/or KANBAN framework)
• Proficiency in the Microsoft development stack, ideally MS Dynamics
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services (desirable)
• Experience of Test Driven Development (TDD) techniques (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert and professional delivery management services to the CRH Group
• Shape, manage, and deliver IT projects utilizing relevant delivery methodologies
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects meet business needs
• Plan and secure IT resources with internal capability leads and/or external suppliers
• Manage multi-skilled project teams including third-party technical partners
• Develop and maintain detailed IT project plans
• Manage IT project deliverables in line with the project plan
• Identify and manage the delivery critical path
• Manage budget resources, license subscriptions, training, and hardware
• Record and manage IT project issues and escalate where necessary
• Resolve cross-functional issues at the IT project level
• Manage IT project scope and change control, escalating issues when necessary
• Manage key risks and dependencies with timely mitigation actions
• Monitor and report on IT project progress and performance
• Liaise with and provide progress updates to project boards and senior IT management
• Manage IT project evaluation and dissemination activities
• Promote and develop project management best practices and effective delivery methodologies
