Software Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Angular (essential)/n- Experience of JavaScript/TypeScript/n- Full-stack development experience/n- Backend experience using Java or a similar server-side language/n- Understanding of modern software engineering best practices/n- Experience working in agile delivery teams/n- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (desirable)/n- Exposure to cloud or containerised environments (beneficial, not essential)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality frontend applications using Angular/n- Contribute to full-stack development across modern, scalable systems/n- Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and integration/n- Work across the full software development lifecycle with a DevOps mindset/n- Apply best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and clean code principles/n- Operate within an agile team, contributing to continuous improvement and technical decisions/n- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and quality standards
