Contract IT Support Engineer

Salary: £27,600 - 30,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience in imaging and deployment of technologies for Windows 10/11
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows 11
• IT support experience at a 2nd Line Level
• 2FA experience
• Proficiency with SCCM/Intune
• Experience managing Group Policy
• Knowledge of Windows Server
• Active Directory management skills
• IP address management through DNS & DHCP
• Familiarity with Virtualization technology, Hyper-V, or VMware

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with local management to deliver exceptional service
• Support satellite offices and new sites as needed
• Monitor and identify trends or recurring issues within the IT Support Team and escalate appropriately
• Assist other IT Support Engineers with incident escalations, providing training and support documentation as necessary
• Provide efficient technical support for all IT devices, ensuring functionality and optimization
• Actively seek improvements in service and propose them to management
• Offer IT support and guidance on software and equipment, including BYOD solutions
• Maintain, support, and test various technical equipment including PCs, applications, projectors, and conference phones
• Use Active Directory and remote software monitoring tools to assist staff
• Handle installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Thin Client technology using Citrix Director and Stratodesk
• Create and manage images with SCCM/Intune
• Install and troubleshoot remote access solutions, including Cisco VPN and Citrix
