Professional Services Manager - Healthcare Software

Salary: £65,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• We require proven experience in a vendor-side professional services management role, such as Professional Services Manager, Professional Services Team Lead, Consulting Manager, or Consulting Team Leader.
• We require a background delivering healthcare or clinical applications, with hands-on implementation leadership rather than project management.
• We require experience leading or managing consultants in a delivery environment.
• We require a strong understanding of customer workflows and value-based software adoption.
• We require strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance utilisation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• We require the ability to travel to customer sites across the UK as needed, though travel is not frequent.

Responsibilities

• We will manage a team of implementation consultants and take accountability for their performance.
• We will combine hands-on consultancy with line management, with up to 50% billable utilisation.
• We will embed consultancy principles and drive growth, utilisation, and profitability.
• We will align our leadership strategy and vision with customer expectations and team delivery to ensure high-quality engagements.
• We will develop long-term customer relationships and support revenue growth.
• We will plan for team growth, profitability, and the advancement of delivery models.
• We will ensure consultants clearly understand customer requirements.
• We will lead consultants in analysing customer workflows and configuring products accordingly.
• We will manage individual and team performance to meet utilisation targets and optimise project time.
• We will address underperformance where needed.
• We will provide regular management reports and maintain project trackers.
