IT Procurement Administrator

Salary: £33,000 - 38,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience within IT, procurement, purchasing, supplier management or a related area
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Confidence dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Experience supporting or managing projects
• An interest in technology, IT hardware, software and licensing
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Responsibilities

• Support the purchase of IT hardware, software, licensing, telecoms and technology services
• Work with internal teams to understand requirements and identify suitable suppliers
• Manage and support IT procurement projects from initial requirements through to supplier selection and delivery
• Obtain and evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing and help secure strong commercial terms
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, SLAs and software licensing agreements
• Build and maintain relationships with technology suppliers and vendors
• Monitor supplier performance, spend, contract expiry dates and software renewals
• Coordinate the delivery and implementation of new equipment and technology
• Support IT budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with wider procurement projects across the organisation
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve supplier services

We are an exciting organisation based in Diss and we are looking for an IT Procurement Administrator to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position, requiring just two days per week in our Diss office, with the remainder working remotely. The role sits between IT and procurement and works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure we secure the right technology, services and commercial agreements across the business. We welcome applicants from either an IT or procurement background who are interested in developing their career in this area.
