Senior Software Engineer

Salary: £55,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with C++ on Windows
• Proficient in Visual Studio
• Experience delivering software across the full development lifecycle
• Good understanding of software design, testing, and verification
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• GUI/UX or HCI experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell (desirable)
• Background in regulated, defense, or safety-critical environments (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software that supports advanced engineering products
• Manage the full development lifecycle from early design to delivery and verification
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, stakeholders, and external partners
• Support and mentor more junior members of the team
