VCF Architect

Salary: £18,000 - 20,400 per year

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VCF Architect or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation architecture.
• Hands-on experience with HCX, SRM, and SDDC technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualisation concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, VCDX) are a plus.
• Experience in large-scale cloud migration projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with additional VMware products and solutions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VMware Cloud Foundation architecture and solutions.
• Utilise HCX (Hybrid Cloud Extension) to facilitate workload mobility across cloud environments.
• Implement and manage Site Recovery Manager (SRM) for disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop and optimise Software-Defined Data Centre (SDDC) strategies and deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud architecture with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support for cloud infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VCF, HCX, SRM, and SDDC components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud architecture.
