Network Automation Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• Experience with Itential Automation Platform
• Proficiency in Cisco NSO for service development and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of Hasi Corp Vault
• Experience with Openshift
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with Fast API and Rest API
• Understanding of Netconf Yang modeling
• Proficient in XML/JSON
• Experience with Jinja/TextFSM
• Familiarity with Pytest unit testing
• Experience with MongoDB
• Proficient in Docker and Git
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of networking components, including Ciena 517x/8180/8114 and Nokia BNG/OLT
• Understanding of Infinera GTX Series and XGSPON
• Experience with Metro Ethernet, g8032 rings, and switching and routing
• Proficient in SRMPLS, BGP, L3VPN, EVPN, IS-IS

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions using the Itential Automation Platform
• Manage service development and lifecycle using Cisco NSO
• Design and orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow
• Ensure secure storage and access management with Hasi Corp Vault
• Deploy and manage applications on Openshift
• Write and maintain code in Python for automation tasks
• Implement APIs using Fast API and Rest API
• Model network configurations using Netconf Yang
• Convert data formats as needed using XML/JSON
• Utilize Jinja/TextFSM for template rendering
• Conduct unit testing using Pytest
• Manage data effectively with MongoDB
• Utilize Docker to containerize applications
• Collaborate within Git for version control
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and execution
• Oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Configure and manage networking hardware and protocols as required
