IT Support Engineer

Salary: £32,000 - 38,000 per year

Requirements

• We have at least 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
• We have strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking concepts.
• We are familiar with Active Directory, Exchange, and remote desktop tools.
• We have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• We can prioritize tasks and manage our time effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft MCP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• We provide first- and second-line technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in person.
• We diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
• We install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• We manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• We monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure uptime and performance.
• We document support issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• We assist with onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning.
• We support remote users and troubleshoot VPN, connectivity, and collaboration tools.
• We collaborate with other IT team members on infrastructure upgrades and projects.
• We ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and data protection regulations.
