QA Automation Engineer – AI-Driven SaaS Platform

Our platform leverages machine learning and intelligent automation to streamline customer servicing, improve retention, and drive revenue growth. As we scale, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and accuracy of our platform.

About the Role As a QA Automation Engineer at ReFocus AI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of our AI-driven SaaS platform.

You will work closely with engineering teams to build robust automation frameworks and validate workflows across our web applications, microservices, ML pipelines, and browser-based carrier integrations.

Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver accurate quotes and seamless automation at scale. Key Responsibilities Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, APIs, and backend services with a strong focus on Playwright.

Browser Automation: Build and validate automation workflows for carrier interactions using Playwright and modern browser automation techniques. Experience with Stagehand or similar tools is highly desirable.

Manual and Black Box Testing: Perform exploratory, functional, regression, and system testing to identify defects and usability issues. Microservices and API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs and distributed systems using tools like Postman and similar frameworks.

ML and ETL Pipeline Testing: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across ML models and ETL workflows. Integration Testing: Validate end to end workflows across internal systems and third party integrations, especially carrier systems.

Performance and Reliability Testing: Identify bottlenecks and improve system stability for high scale automation workflows. CI CD and Test Environments: Integrate automated tests into CI CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Defect Management: Document, track, and resolve issues in collaboration with engineering teams using Jira or similar tools. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation and black box testing.

Strong hands on experience with Playwright for browser automation and end to end testing. Experience building automation for dynamic web applications and complex workflows. Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Experience testing microservices and distributed systems. Understanding of ML and ETL pipelines with a focus on data validation and output quality. Familiarity with CI CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.

Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. Experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Bonus Points: Experience with Stagehand or similar agent based browser automation tools. Experience in insurance or B2B SaaS platforms.
